Darts sensation Luke Littler is rejoicing after successfully passing his driving test, a milestone that took him several attempts to achieve. Despite breezing through his practical test on the first try, the world champion faced repeated setbacks in passing his theory exam.
At the age of 18, Littler encountered failure six times before finally obtaining a passing grade in his theory test. With this accomplishment, he is now legally permitted to drive. Colin Price Driving School proudly shared a photo of the talented darts player, which Littler then shared on his own social media.
Following his recent success, Littler, who had publicly shared his struggles with previous test attempts, expressed relief and excitement. Despite barely meeting the passing score for the multiple-choice section on his latest theory test, he excelled in the hazard perception segment and aced the practical test.
In a previous statement after winning the world title in January 2025, Littler had mentioned his desire to purchase a new car with part of his prize money. His preference was for a Mercedes A-Class, a vehicle he had admired for its style and size. Recognizing the importance of obtaining his license promptly, he emphasized the significance of doing so before turning twenty.
As Littler gears up to defend his title at the upcoming PDC World Championship, he has already secured a spot in the Players Championship Finals. Despite a recent early exit in the European Championship, he remains focused on his upcoming matches. Anticipation is high as he faces tough competition, including a potential showdown with top-seed Gerwyn Price.
Littler is among the notable players who have qualified for the upcoming World Championship, set to kick off on December 11 at Alexandra Palace. Notably, changes in the tournament format mean that the 32 seeds, including Littler, will no longer receive a bye to the second round.
In anticipation of the upcoming season, Sky has announced a discounted price for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering viewers significant savings and access to an expanded lineup of live matches, including over 215 Premier League games.
