“New Look Launches Club Loyalty Program for Exclusive Benefits”

-

New Look has introduced its inaugural loyalty program offering exclusive benefits to members.

Club New Look is a complimentary membership program providing perks such as weekly “Club Prices” on selected items, early access to sales and promotions, and participation in exclusive member competitions.

Upon joining, members receive a 25% welcome discount. The fashion retailer aims to enhance the shopping experience for its 10 million identified customers through personalized services.

CEO Helen Connolly expressed the company’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding customers. Club New Look, the loyalty initiative, aims to provide unique benefits to make members feel valued, acknowledged, and motivated.

Following a successful soft launch with 500,000 customers joining, New Look’s goal is to reach 800,000 members by the end of the fiscal year. The company plans to expand the program nationally as part of its strategy to create a more personalized, digitally-driven, and rewarding shopping journey.

As part of its restructuring efforts, New Look closed multiple stores this year, including 26 in the Republic of Ireland as it exited the market. The Times reported the retailer’s intention to accelerate store closures due to increased costs related to minimum wage and National Insurance rates for employers.

Although New Look did not confirm the report, approximately a quarter of its stores may be at risk of closure. The company currently operates 338 stores across the UK.

In other retail news, US fashion brand Anthropologie announced the opening of three new stores in the UK. The retailer, known for its flagship store on London’s Regent Street since 2009, plans to expand its presence on the high street with new locations in Liverpool, Glasgow, and Manchester.

Gap is also making a comeback to the UK market with three standalone stores. After closing its last UK store in September 2021, the US brand will open a flagship store in Covent Garden, followed by locations in Westfield London and Wembley Park London Designer Outlet.

Moreover, Gap has shop-in-shop concepts within Next stores and concessions in over 40 Next locations across England and Ireland.
