“Tesco Shoppers Decode Hidden Deal Expiry Code”

-

Bargain finder Jordon Cox has shared a technique to uncover a “hidden code” that signals the impending expiration of a deal at Tesco.

Jordon, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, regularly imparts money-saving advice on social media. In a recent video, he detailed how a product on Clubcard Price promotion displays a six-digit code indicating the offer’s end date.

The code, starting with 25, can be decoded by reading it in reverse in blocks of two. The last two digits denote the day, the middle two represent the month, and the first two signify the year of the deal’s expiry.

By deciphering this code, shoppers can track when a discounted item expires, allowing them to plan their purchases accordingly and save money on their shopping trips.

Meanwhile, Tesco is urging customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers before the end of the month, with the deadline set for midnight on November 30.

Clubcard points are earned for every pound spent at Tesco stores, online, on fuel at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile purchases, and using a Tesco credit card or Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Accumulating a minimum of 150 points qualifies for a £1.50 Clubcard voucher to spend at Tesco, with over 24 million UK households currently holding a Tesco Clubcard.

To stay updated on money news and deals, readers can join the Money WhatsApp group or subscribe to Mirror’s Money newsletter for exclusive offers and promotions. Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Membership and Loyalty Director, emphasized the significance of redeeming Clubcard vouchers promptly to benefit from the ongoing Clubcard Rewards.
