Microsoft has revealed the upcoming lineup of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in January 2026. In response to Sony’s recent release of PS Plus Extra titles, Microsoft is set to bring an impressive array of new games to Game Pass.
Kicking off on January 21, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, previously a PlayStation exclusive title developed by Hideo Kojima and starring Norman Reedus, will make its debut on Game Pass. The Director’s Cut version includes enhancements like high frame-rate support, a Photo Mode, and collaborative content with Half Life and Cyberpunk 2077.
January 21 will also see the arrival of Roadcraft and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound on Xbox Game Pass. Ninja Gaiden Ragebound returns to its classic roots with 2D platforming action and a nostalgic pixel art style, earning praise from both fans and critics with an 84% Metacritic score and a Very Positive rating on Steam.
Subsequent releases in January include The Talos Principle 2 on January 27, followed by Anno: Mutationem and Drop Duchy on January 28. The lineup continues with MySims: Cozy Bundle and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II on January 29, Indika on February 3, and Final Fantasy 2 on February 4.
