A male individual was swiftly taken to the hospital after being attacked by a group of ‘Bullies and Staffys’ along with his Labrador in Cambuslang. Emergency responders were summoned to Bogleshole Road at approximately 5:05 pm on Friday, September 19, following reports of multiple dogs assaulting a man and his dog.

Law enforcement verified that a 65-year-old man received medical care at the hospital, and his dog was conveyed to a veterinarian. Subsequently, a 27-year-old man was apprehended in connection with the incident.

According to an eyewitness cited by Glasgow Live, five dogs identified as ‘Bullies and Staffys’ were involved in the attack on the man. A spokesperson from Police Scotland stated that on Friday, September 19, 2025, around 5:05 pm, they were notified of the dog attack incident in Bogleshole Road, Cambuslang. The arrested 27-year-old individual will face legal proceedings.

This incident occurred shortly after a woman was witnessed biting a pitbull while trying to protect her own dog during an attack in Orlando, Florida. Shirley Pasamanick, aged 69, recounted her efforts to fend off the aggressive pitbull that targeted her and her dog, Sparky. Video footage captured the chaotic scene at Plaza Tropical Supermarket where Shirley struggled to prevent the attack and resorted to biting the pitbull after her other attempts failed.

Shirley described the intense experience, mentioning that she was physically shaking for days following the incident. Despite using her cane to defend against the pitbull, she eventually resorted to biting the dog in a desperate attempt to save her pet.
