Lewis Hamilton is expanding his creative horizons by working on a TV show concept and a couple of animation films through his production company, Dawn Apollo Films. The seven-time world champion played a significant role in the success of the blockbuster F1 film, which became the highest-grossing sports film ever, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2.

Hamilton’s interest in diverse projects beyond racing is well-documented. The 40-year-old, known for his passion in music production, has now ventured into cinema with the F1 film marking his notable entry into the industry.

After amassing a staggering £479 million ($629 million) in global box office earnings, F1: The Movie achieved remarkable success. Hamilton, in an interview with The Ferrari Magazine, expressed his satisfaction with the project, highlighting his active involvement in the film’s development alongside director Joe Kosinski and renowned composer Hans Zimmer.

Following the triumph of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films remains active in the film sector, with the British driver already planning future productions. Hamilton emphasized the importance of storytelling and inspirational narratives in the current challenging times, mentioning his interest in comedy and upcoming television show ideas, as well as animation movie concepts.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Hamilton spoke about the significance of maintaining a balance between his on-track endeavors and off-track projects. He stressed the value of creativity in finding inspiration and maintaining a positive mindset amidst the demands of his racing career.

On the racing front, Hamilton, still seeking his first podium finish with Ferrari, is engaged in a fierce battle in the 2025 season’s Constructors’ Championship against Mercedes and Red Bull, holding a slim one-point lead over his competitors as the season nears its conclusion.
